Found this vintage sticker on Ebay yesterday:

Kinja'd!!!

It’s old, rare, almost embarrassingly tacky, and it glotifies the 505. I love it!

For non-french speakers, it says “505 with you ...I believe in the future” (or “...The future I believe in” if you directly translate it). Well in French it doesn’t make any more sense, but at least it rhymes.

I’m not going to stick it to anything, since old and vintage and everything, but I might duplicate it.

I read somewhere that they where applied to cars that were produced in Sochaux. But I can’t find a reliable source for that claim.

If I’m not mistaken all 505's were produced in Peugeot’s Sochaux facility. Having had several 505's in the family, bought new at the Peugeot dealer, I can assure this claim to be false. Never seen this sticker. It is awesome though, feel free to send me one if you start replicating it ;-)

So I guess we all know how that future turned out.

It hurts cause it’s true.
There’s a need for durable RWD french sedans, people want them, they just don’t know it yet.

They were produced in Argentina, Taiwan, and Indonesia too, but for local markets. Later in China too. But I guess all European and North American cars come from Sochaux.
It seems to be in good condition, I think I’ll try to scan it and print it on vinyl.

Yes, in Nigeria as well. It was a true world-car. And Dangel made that amazing 4x4 of it:

Kinja'd!!!

I love the 505. So regarding that print on vinyl: my address is... in Europe ;-)
